Alper is an experienced Maritime engineer with a career that bridges hands-on engineering expertise and technical management in quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance. As a marine engineer, he gained extensive operational knowledge at sea before transitioning into safety and technical management ashore.

He has served as Technical Manager and Tanker Fleet DPA, responsible for safety management across various vessels, overseeing compliance, internal audits, crew training, and emergency response coordination. His leadership has included managing multimillion-dollar compliance projects, liaising with classification societies, Flag States, and clients, and ensuring operational integrity across international fleets.

Alper is also an authorized service engineer for lifeboats, davits, and firefighting equipment, trained in Denmark, with deep knowledge of safety systems, inspections, and retrofitting projects. His expertise extends to risk management, technical investigations, and developing mitigation strategies that directly enhance client safety and efficiency.
